Dear Friends,

In light of the ongoing crises in Israel, we have decided to send the shul’s proceeds from this Shavuot’s Yizkor appeal to urgent causes relating to supporting security for our brothers and sisters sheltering for their safety. 

This means that monies from this appeal will be split between emergency needs in Israel and Queens Yeshivot—both of which are causes that further our mission as Jews and defend the land of Israel from rising threats in the days and years ahead.

Over the coming days we will ensure to focus the portion of funds heading to Israel on real needs that make a real difference, and we will proudly allocate monies for the local educational institutions that shape the next generation of Jews to be advocates for Israel and proud of our values. 

The need is dire, the time is now, let us honor the memories of our loved ones by securing the Jewish future.
