The Sephardic Minyan at the Young Israel of Jamaica Estates was established in 2020 to serve the vibrant and diverse Sephardic community of Queens, including Moroccan, Yemenite, Israeli, and Bukharian Jews. Since its founding, the minyan has grown steadily and is known for its warmth, energy, and inclusive atmosphere. The minyan offers regular services on Shabbat, holidays, and weekday mornings, along with a growing selection of programs, shiurim, and community events. It is proud to be an integral part of the Young Israel of Jamaica Estates, a dynamic Modern Orthodox synagogue serving over 250 families.
