Rabbi Elliot Schrier - Rabbinic Candidate

Rabbi Elliot Schrier currently serves as the rabbi of the Albert Einstein Synagogue, at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He previously served as a Rabbinic Assistant in Congregation Beth Sholom, in Lawrence, NY.
Rabbi Schrier grew up in Woodmere and received Rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University where he was a member of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary’s Bella and Harry Wexner Semikha Honors Program and the Marcos and Adina Katz Kollel. He attended Yeshiva University, where he majored in History and Judaic Studies, and served as a Shoel U’Meishiv assisting Rav Michael Rosensweig. In 2012, he was awarded the Professor David Mirsky Memorial Torah U’Madda award, given to the student who best exemplifies Yeshiva University’s ideal of synthesizing traditional Torah learning with secular wisdom. Rabbi Schrier studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion, is a graduate of the DRS Yeshiva High School for Boys and the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach.
He currently teaches at the North Shore Hebrew Academy High School, where he also serves as the Director of the Beit Midrash Program.
Rabbi Schrier lives in the Bronx, together with his wife Rena and two sons, Coby and Zecharia. Rena grew up in Passaic, NJ and works as a consultant for Acsel Health. She holds a BSN from Columbia University School of Nursing and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
